Users are able to join certain networks, such as the school they attend or graduated from. If you are searching for individuals who went to a certain school, you can perform a people search and then refine that search based on their education network.

Log in to your Facebook account.

Click on the search bar at the top of the window and type a person’s name for whom you want to search.

Click “See more results” at the bottom of the drop-down menu that appears.

Click on the “People” heading on the left side of the window.

Click “Add another filter…” at the top of the window. This will add the "Education" field.

Type in the school or university that you want to search for and select the school from the drop-down menu that appears. You can also add a graduation year.

Tips & Warnings

If you want to search for people in general who went to a certain school rather than a single individual, delete the name in the search bar at the top of the window and search with that field blank. Everyone in that network will be displayed, with your friends listed first and people you may know through your friends listed after that.
