This is done over the PlayStation Network, so you must have Internet connection to update your Facebook via your PlayStation 3.

Power on your PlayStation 3 and sign into your PlayStation Network account.

Select the "XMB," or Xcross Media Bar, on the main menu of the network.

Type "m.facebook.com" in the address bar to access the mobile Facebook page. Log into your account with your email address and password.

Type your update in the "What are you doing" box and click "Update" to send the post.
